Measures for the government to reduce traffic accidents

  • Have more street lights and sufficient big clear traffic sings on roads.

  • Stop or reduce all alcoholic advertisements

  • Secure security so that people will ride and drive slowly.

  • Build acceptable standard roads (based on careful study and inspections).

  • Raise more awareness about causes, consequences and preventions of traffic accidents through the media and the press, school curriculums and other social events and means like the Red Cross traffic safety campaign.

  • Select real students to star in various sports with different themes about traffic accidents and then broadcast them more often than alcohol advertisements on every channel of TV, Radio and Facebook in order to make the sports of traffic accidents increasingly alarming and informative rather than entertained like some existing sport stared by local comedians or celebrities.

  • Ensure that all kind of vehicles are not overloaded or locally invented for illegal and unethical utilization to generate more benefits for the owner.

  • Install speed measurement as well as camera and have polices to chase those who ride or drive over speed or violate traffic laws.

  • Maintain the good condition of the boulevard/avenue/streets regularly.

  • Impose more serious punishments for those who cause traffic accidents or violate the traffic laws

  • Ensure that all riders and drivers have a license through training and taking transparent test.

  • Restrict certain age for riding and driving .

  • Establish more commissioned official traffic centers to provide free or cheap driving lessons and official and transparent driving tests.

  • Improving vehicle safety checking conditions mechanisms(more regular time, available in many places, and easier procedure and less costing)

  • Build crossing bridges at transactions and busy places (schools, market, hospital, business centers)
